The Enforcement Directorate on Thursday arrested Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, following his questioning and searches at his residence, in connection with a money-laundering case linked to the now scrapped Delhi liquor policy.
Following Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, AAP Minister Atishi said he "is and will remain" the Chief Minister of Delhi.
"We have always said that Arvind Kejriwal will run the government from jail. He will remain the CM of Delhi. We have filed a case in the Supreme Court. Our lawyers are reaching the Supreme Court," Atishi told the media. She also said that no rule stops Kejriwal from running the government from jail.
