The Union Cabinet has decided to merge the three Municipal Corporations of Delhi into one, said sources. Now, instead of the three civic bodies — East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, and South Delhi Municipal Corporation — there will be only one. The bill is likely to be tabled in Parliament next week.
