All African countries have now developed laboratory capacity to test for COVID-19, WHO's Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Wednesday. Head of the Africa Centres for Disease Control John Nkengasong urged African countries to secure sufficient vaccine supplies to avoid Africa being left out. Africa reported nearly 3.22 lakh COVID-19 cases and 8,481 deaths, WHO's Regional Office for Africa said.
