The Bengaluru police has announced a ban on alcohol sale in Bengaluru with immediate effect till October 31 midnight after the demise of actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Several shops, offices and pubs were also closed down in the city to pay tribute to the actor. The Kannada actor passed away in Bengaluru after suffering a heart attack earlier in the day.
