AJSU party chief Sudesh Mahto is now leading in Silli seat by 10,400 votes while JMM's Seema Devi is trailing behind. Mahto was trailing after the initial few rounds but he soon consolidated his lead in the seat. The BJP did not field a candidate against him, even though it had a falling out with its ally just before polls, in order to keep the option of a post-poll alliance open.
