NCP leader Ajit Pawar has been sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Before Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance formed government in the state, Ajit Pawar sided with BJP and was sworn in as Deputy CM on November 23. However, he resigned from the post on November 26 to be part of the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress alliance.
