Gujarat Government has taken a decision to completely close the shops and malls in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot cities till March 25. Medical equipments, stores, vegetable selling, Grocery shops, essential item shops, milk outlets, fruits selling, provision stores, medical clinics, hospital laboratories, Medical equipment  manufacturing companies and pharmacy will continue to function.
All municipal corporation, Panchayat services, power related services, insurance companies, internet, telephone and IT related services, Bank, ATM, bank clearing house, stock exchange, go down of all essential items, railway, transport service, petrol pump, media and newspaper offices will continue to function.
Water supply, gutter related works, manufacturing transportation and storage of essential items such as food items, food material, medicines, pest control, e- commerce related shops/ organisations will also continue to function. This decision was taken in high level meeting by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani. Gujarat has 14 positive coronavirus cases.
