The city on Sunday recorded 114 new Covid cases, whereas Gujarat recorded 301 cases. Other cases included 34 from Mehsana, 24 from Vadodara city, 20 each from Rajkot and Surat cities, 12 from Vadodara and 11 from Rajkot among others.
With the discharge of 263 patients, the active cases in Gujarat reached 2,332. Out of total, 10 were on ventilators, mentioned the state health department bulletin. After nearly a week, the test positivity rate (TPR) in Ahmedabad went below 10% at 9.7% for the week ending Sunday. Bharuch had TPR of 5.09% - one of the two districts with 5% or more TPR.
