Amdavadis are happy to welcome rains today and get respite from the sweltering heat. The sky remained overcast throughout the day with rain reported from some areas. The downpour started late in the evening, people came out of their homes to enjoy rain. The city is likely to receive light showers along with thunderstorm and lightning for next 24 hours.
