Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani today flagged off country's second Tejas Express from Ahmedabad. The train will run in Ahmedabad to Mumbai route six days a week except Thursday. The commercial run of the newly launched Mumbai-Ahmedabad Tejas Express will start from January 19, the railways said. The train was shown green signal with a lot of fanfare at Ahmedabad station where it was decorated with flowers and garlands on exterior. Artists performed traditional music and dance on the platform before the departure of the train.
