People stepped out of their homes to stock up on essential supplies, buy new clothes and shop for sheep for Eid-ul-Zuha as the Centre and Jammu and Kashmir administration announced the first relaxation of restrictions in Srinagar and the militant hotbeds of Anantnag and Budgam in the Kashmir valley and in five districts of Jammu. Curfew was relaxed in Jammu’s Doda and Kishtwar districts.
