According to the Ministry of Railways, Ahmedabad stood 7th among the top 10 rankers in the A1 category stations in the cleanliness drive. A bottle crushing machine facilitates to recycle the plastic waste generated daily at the station. Dustbins are placed everywhere and CCTV cameras keep a tab on offenders. Top positions went to Vizag., Secunderabad Jn.and Jammu Tawi.
