A day after Javed Akhtar tweeted he was "shocked" to find his name on the poster of 'PM Narendra Modi', his fellow lyricist Sameer has also denied writing any song for the biopic. Sameer was credited for writing songs for the film along with Akhtar, Prasoon Joshi and others. "I don't understand what they're crediting me for," Sameer said.
Producers of the film are yet to respond to Akhtar's claims. PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to hit cinemas on 5 April.
