NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant said Aarogya Setu remained among top 10 downloaded mobile apps globally in May. "India has led the way in effectively leveraging technology to combat the COVID-19 pandemic," he added. Earlier in May, Kant had announced that Aarogya Setu had predicted over 3,000 hotspots at sub-post office level across India almost "3-17 days ahead of time".
