The BJP has claimed that AAP did not incorporate recommendations made by the committee it constituted into the new excise policy, leading to at least ₹900 crore loss. They alleged that AAP kept "changing the goalpost" every time tough questions were asked. BJP also refuted Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia's claims of getting charges dropped for joining the party.
