The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) swept the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections on Wednesday, with Arvind Kejriwal-led party bagging 134 seats. This is the first time in the last 15 years that the BJP will not control the MCD, however, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not far behind, as it won 104 seats. The BJP has governed the civic body in Delhi since 2007.
