CM Vijay Rupani has gifted his hometown yet another prized project. The government has granted in-principle approval to a semi-high-speed rail project between Ahmedabad and Rajkot. The project, estimated to cost Rs 11,300 crore, will be subsequently be linked to the Ahmedabad-Mumbai high speed rail corridor project of the Union government.
