Muralidhar Dhara, an 83-year-old PMC Bank customer from Mumbai, passed away on Friday as his family was unable to withdraw money from the bank to pay for his bypass surgery due to RBI restrictions. The family had ₹80 lakh in deposits with the scam-hit bank. In the past week, two other PMC Bank account holders died of heart attack.
