The last votes in this edition of the Lok Sabha election will be cast on Saturday, marking the grand finale of the seven-phased polls where 10.06 crore voters are eligible to exercise their franchise in 57 seats, including in Varanasi where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is contesting, spread across eight states and union territories.
Polling for 28 States/UTs and 486 PCs has been completed smoothly and peacefully. The counting of votes will take place on the 4th of June.
