The CRPF has conducted about 200 special operations with a re-worked strategy since last month's Sukma attack and apprehended 72 naxalites. Out of the apprehended naxalites, 15 were involved in the Sukma attack that claimed the lives of 25 CRPF jawans. At least seven exchange of fire incidents have occurred between the jawans and the naxalites since the attack.
