Amid concerns over Omicron variant, Maharashtra's Public Health Department on Tuesday said that six passengers from South Africa and other high-risk countries have tested COVID-19 positive. The cases have been identified in Mumbai and Pune among other cities. Their samples have been sent for genome sequencing and the contact tracing exercise is underway, the department added.
