Gujarat registered 571 fresh cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking its tally to 2,72,811 on Saturday. The death toll due to COVID-19 rose to 4,411 after 1 more persons succumbed to the infection during the same period. 403 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recovered cases in the state to 2,65,372. The number of active cases crosses 3,000-mark on Saturday. At present, Gujarat has 3,025 active COVID-19 cases, of which, 45 patients are on ventilator. A total of 13,74,244 persons have been given the first dose and 3,30,463 persons have been given the second dose so far. There has been no case of adverse reaction or side-effects of Covid-19 vaccine in the State so far. The state's recovery rate stood at 97.27 percent, it said.
