With a spike of 57,982 cases and 941 deaths in the past 24 hours, India's coronavirus tally has crossed the 26-lakh mark. In the past 24 hours, India's coronavirus tally rose to 26,47,664 as more cases were reported in the country. There are 6,76,900 active cases. Over 19.19 lakh people have discharged since the pandemic began in the country and 50,921 have died, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. India on Sunday tested 7,31,697 samples to detect coronavirus infections in the country, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said on Monday. So far, the country has tested 3,00,41,400 samples.
