Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday informed that 50% of India's eligible population has received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Calling it an "unprecedented milestone", Mandaviya tweeted, "Keep it up India." As per Health Ministry's data, India administered 67,87,305 doses today till 7 pm. With this, the cumulative vaccination coverage has crossed the 61 crore mark.
