A five-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad, who was suspected to have been infected with monkeypox, has tested negative for the virus. The girl's samples had been sent to Pune's ICMR-NIV for testing. So far, no monkeypox case has been reported in the country. CMO Ghaziabad earlier said the girl had complaints of itching and rashes on her body.
