Five workers at a chemical plant in Maharashtra's Palghar district were injured in a fire that was caused by an explosion, fire officials said on Sunday.The explosion happened at around 11:30 pm on Saturday at the plant of a chemical company located in the Boisar industrial area, a fire official said.The local fire department had rushed to the spot after being alerted about the blast. Following rescue and relief operations, five workers were sent to the hospital for treatment of burn injuries.
