The number of people who died due to rainfall in Uttarakhand rose to 34 while five people went missing, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Tuesday. He also announced a compensation of ₹4 lakh for the families of those who died and aid of Rs1.09 lakh for those who lost their houses. Those who lost livestock would also get help.
