In a shocking incident, three children were charred to death and 11others, mostly kids, received burn injuries when the van they were travelling in caught fire due to leakage in LPG cylinder in Nani Aral village near Nakhatrana in Kutch district on Wednesday morning.
“A spark might have occurred which might have ignited the fire that turned into an inferno and engulfed the entire vehicle. Three children, Reena Bhadra (4), Anandi Bhadra (5) and Paru Jepar (6), were burnt to death in the incident, while 11others travelling in the same van were seriously injured,” said G K Bharwad, sub-inspector with Nakhatrana police station.
