BJP president Jagat Prakash Nadda on Tuesday said that both Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party closed 29 sugar mills in Uttar Pradesh and sold 11 mills at low prices. While addressing a rally in UP's Kushinagar, Nadda said, "Yogi's government gave a payment of ₹11,000 lakh crores to sugarcane growers."
