The state government claimed the COVID-19 situation is gradually improving with 528 more patients getting discharged from hospitals during the day, taking the total recoveries to 2,55,059.
After a long time, the number of active cases dropped below the 3,000-mark on Wednesday. At present, Gujarat has 2,956 active COVID-19 cases, of which, 28 patients are on ventilator. With significant recoveries in recent times, the COVID-19 recovery rate has gone up to 97.20 percent, the release said. According to the state health department, 27,065 persons were vaccinated on Wednesday. With this, the total 4,19,519 persons have received the Covid 19 vaccine in the state till now.
