At least 28 people were hospitalised after inhaling a toxic gas that leaked in a chemical factory near Jambusar in Gujarat's Bharuch district on Wednesday, officials said.
The affected people complained of breathing problems after they inhaled bromine gas that leaked due to a fire that broke out in a tank at PI Industries in Sarod village of the district, said Bharuch Resident Additional Collector NR Dhandhal.
