Two Army personnel were martyred after an avalanche hit Southern Siachen Glacier on Saturday morning. An army patrol team was operating at an altitude of approximately 18,000 feet when the avalanche struck. The rescue team rushed and managed to locate and pull out all the members of the patrol team. Helicopters were used to evacuate victims.
