The Department of Health and Medical Education of J&K confirmed on Tuesday that the first three cases of COVID-19 variant Omicron have been detected in Jammu. "RT-PCR testing of entire locality ordered. Please observe COVID-19 appropriate behaviour," the department said. The development came hours after the Centre said India has 200 Omicron cases, with the most in Maharashtra and Delhi.
