The health ministry updated the number of Covid-19 cases in India on Wednesday. The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is just short of 20,000 with over 15,400 active cases. A total of 3,870 have been discharged after recovery while 640 people have died after contracting the deadly virus. It may be noted that over 1,383 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.
