At least 16 people have died after Dubai-Calicut Air India Express flight broke into two pieces after overshooting runway at the Karipur Airport, police said on Friday. As many as 123 people have been injured, with 15 people said to be grievously injured, the police added. Teams of National Disaster Response Force were rushed to the spot for rescue operations.
