Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia showered praise on Trivandrum and Kochi airports as 120 Sri Lanka-bound airplanes landed there on Wednesday. "The airports have gone beyond their call of duty...The gesture will go a long way in furthering ties with our neighbour," Scindia said in a tweet. Sri Lanka declared a state of emergency today amid ongoing anti-government protests.
